"Psychological Safety in the Workplace"
Experiential Workshop
Psychological safety is necessary for high performing teams, as it helps build a culture of trust, collaboration, and common purpose. This workshop will provide tools to create a culture of inclusion and learning, where people feel safe to speak up, take moderate risks, and work creatively together. It will guide professionals to become psychologically safe leaders and offer ways to increase safety in the workplace by creating conditions for the highest level of authenticity, inclusion, creativity, and collaboration.
Learning outcomes:
• Understand current challenges in the workplace - increased uncertainty, anxiety, and burnout.
• Understand the need for innovation and inter-personal risk taking in creative work environments.
• Promote the highest order of diversity and inclusion.
• Learn the drivers of optimal performance: growth mindset, positive disposition, and process-orientation.
• Activate the parasympathetic nervous system and decrease the fear response.
• Create a culture of wellbeing and belonging.
• Become a psychologically safe leader.
• Learn ways to measure psychological safety in the workplace.
